“Yeah, y'know, Demifiend. Heart of a human, body of a demon, that sort of...” The pixie stopped in mid-sentence and looked at the others, as if noticing them for the first time. “Huh? Who're you guys?”
“I'm Twilight Sparkle,” she said, “this is Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. Uh, is this a friend of yours?”
“Since day one!” The pixie shot behind the Demifiend, pushing against him until he was back on his feet, albeit unsteadily. “Come on, we can't stay here! Who knows when they'll find us next!”
“Oh, be careful!” Fluttershy said. “He was hurt pretty badly a couple days ago, so you need to go easy.”
“Hurt? Huh?” The pixie looked the Demifiend up and down, noticing the bandages. “Oh, wow, this looks okay...who did this?”
The Demifiend lifted a finger, pointing at Fluttershy.
“You did? Wow, you're pretty good! Thanks a bunch, miss!”
“Oh, uh, it's no trouble,” Fluttershy said, turning red.
“Well, thanks for everything then, but me and my pal have to go, go, GO!”
And just like, then a flash of red and black light, the two of them disappeared, leaving nothing behind.
Pinkie Pie blinked slowly. “What...just happened?”
“Well...” The pixie's words came back to Twilight Sparkle, who only said, “You know, it might be best if we never find out. |
