12/20/10(Mon)22:10 No.22048225>>22047830 "Um... 'scuze me M-mister Santa Hooves... Why are ya taking our presents and decorations away?"
The soft-spoken southern accent reached the lumbering man's ears as he turned around to face the filly. Apple Bloom stood there with a confused, sad look in her eyes, her orange eyes sparkling softly from the soft lighting inside. The Soldier froze, uncertain as of what to say, as time froze. He began to open his mouth, then stopped again, frozen in confusion. He couldn't kill her, Celestia's magic wouldn't allow him to harm any of the locals here. But...
"Oh for Christ's sake! Oi, girly, he's taking the gifts back to fix em up and some crap like that! Jesus, Sul-erm, Santa, haven't you ever read Suess?" Max's voice yelled from down the chimney, startling the two.
"Um... Yes. I must ensure these presents are functioning at optimal levels." The Soldier confirmed, struggling to give a fake smile to her. To his surprise, Apple Bloom took the advice happily, and with a smile, wrapped her hooves around his legs in a hug. "Thank ya Santa, that's awfully kind of you." Confused, The Soldier awkwardly gave her a pat of the back, as Apple Bloom released, and satisfied, left the couch to sleep in her room. The Soldier stood there, the last present now in his sack, as he began to think, when Sam interrupted him.
"Oy! It'll be daylight in an hour, get your butt back in here!"
