"Hey Twilight. What are you doing over here? Quit being a wallflower and join us." Spike said with a grin. Hopping over to her.

He is arrested by Celestia on crimes of "disturbing the natural order", in line with her policy on suppressing any power which could rival her magic. Maybe twilight breaks him out of prison after hearing tales of his knowledge? but he turns her down as a protige for some reason i dunno

Twilight carefully stepped outside. The air was brisk. Snow was falling in large puffy flakes. Coating the ground. Not a single hoofprint stepped on the snow. It was well into the night now. Up above the moon was shining brightly. Creating a soft reflecting glow upon the snow. Twilight gazed up at the full moon. Her mind still trying to determine what was wrong. As she looked back down she nearly yelped and fell over upon what she saw.
Standing no more then 10 feet away was a smaller pony. Her hair a deep blue and purple.
"L..Luna? Is that you?" Twilight began to shiver a bit.
The smaller pony quietly approched. Her head lowered. A slightly timid look on her features. "H..Hello Twilight..I..saw many ponys were awake.."
Twilight was speechless for a moment. It was not long ago that she and her friends defeated Nightmare Moon..But now Nightmare was just simply Luna. "Ah..y...yes. Well..Pinkie said we require a Christmas party. We just..lost track of time."
Luna gave a nod and simply sat down next to Twilight. She looked up at the large glowing Moon above. "Thats good..do you like the moon tonight?"
Twilight blinked again. "Huh? oh yes..its very pretty."
The two were silent. Simply sitting. Watching the large puffy snowflakes. Illuminated by the full Moon.
Luna broke the silence again. "May I ask you something Twilight?"
Twilight gave a tilt of her head. "Hmm?"
"M..May I come inside? I..never really got to have much fun with my sister when we were younger.."
Twilight turned to look at Luna. "Really? oh..of course. Come on in."
She opened the door to her home. Allowing Luna to enter.

Pity, the moon's pretty much gone here. Even when I saw it, it was pretty much just a full moon.

During the thousand years that Luna was imprisoned, pony civilization has become complex enough that large number of ponies are awake at night. There are night clubs, midnight movies, all-night parties, and thousands of ponies who work nights and sleep during the day. Luna's nights are finally appreciated.

Well the best thing to start off with, IMO, is to try to find a reference pic in one of the episodes.

If you can't find a ref, think of the ponies as the different parts as shown in some of the other tutorials. IMO the neck is probably the easiest thing to mess up. Legs can take some real thought, but I think there's a fair bit of leeway what angle they can go as long as you get their lengths about right.

Sorry I can't be more specific, it's a little hard for me when I don't have a particular pose to comment on.

Took a break from interface coding to give the Ren'Py developers a chance to fix a certain bug that's been vexing me (technically I could go track it down myself, but I don't really want to have to learn the guts of the engine just to get canvases working). Which leads me to a question: have either of these structures - the tower in the center of Ponyville, and that house up on the hill - been shown in anything other than background and establishing shots? I don't remember seeing either, but they seem distinctive enough that they *would* be shown, or at least have something unusual going on with them.

I think a big part of what makes this fun is that fact that it IS on /co/. The trolls are obnoxious, but the fact that /co/ gets so much traffic (and therefore, a lot of new blood) is what keeps it interesting. Puzzles and Ponies update!

Stats for the remaining main cast are nearly done. I've got some errands to run, but expect them to be up before 21:00 Sweden time. Adventure module is also being written, and will be tested for user-friendliness with a group of mixed gamers. My brother's daughter loves the ponies, and has already asked what "that game with the dice and the talking" is about when we were all gathered with the family over Christmas last year, so she is also being drafted for her first game.

So, we'll see how she does with it. She's seven, loves the ponies, and will hopefully understand things. I figure if you can't explain the game to a seven-year-old, then you can't explain it to anyone. The toughest part is the fact she doesn't really speak English well, so I have to re-translate the thing, and there's just not that many good cognates.

tl;dr: More pony stats coming. Module being written, tested on brother's daughter. She is a cute child who loves her aunt and wonders about the funny dice game her dad plays with her aunt and her friends sometimes.

I've noticed kinds of common behavior amongst the Pony fandom.

Fans of Pinkie Pie kind of just act as "Of course she's the best Pony!" and sort of believe that whenever another Pony is claimed as their favorite they mean AFTER Pinkie Pie.

Fans of Rarity seem FIERCELY loyal and react to any criticism of the character with a tearful "How coooould you!?"

Applejack fans are like fans of Batman, Spider-Man, or Green Lantern and mostly talk about her awesome exploits.

Rainbow Dash fans seem to either be a lot like Applejack fans or shippers with just a dash (PUN!) of OH GOD SO CUTE.

Fluttershy fans are more of the MAI PONI WAIFU variety. Even those who don't claim her as their Waifu will make mention of their desire to hug her and/or brush her hair in a field for hours on end.

Twilight Sparkle fans are COMPLETELY UTTERLY SILENT. They post fan art and say not a word.

I liked LBYS, it was a good episode, showing us more interaction between the ponies, only thing I didn't liked was the sudden and unexplained change of attitute in Twilight (From being socially awkward to a smiling/clapping/over-emoting to the point of creepiness/exited about a slumber party pony), that's the only reason why it is my least favorite episode.

And yeah, she probably cracked because of how bad the sleepover happened, just like towards the end of sawrm of the century. I think that just came from Twilight "Letting her guard down." Despite her attitude in the first two episodes about "Not needing friends" that's just because of the "Perfect Student of the Princess" expectations she has of herself. Even though she did want friends, sleepovers, etc, she never had them because her studies were far more important. But now, she has friends she feels she can be all excited about things like that.
