The only things I prefer about the old series is the shape of their snouts; very much more ungulate than the FiM models. I also miss the G1 voice actors, but only for nostalgia. I prefer the mix of threat-driven and character-driven plots in FiM.

Ran a game with some friends of mine. They were skeptical that I'd actually written a game for playing ponies, but brightened up considerably after learning what was going on.

The ponies, after voting, decided to take a somewhat less-than-cute route, and after distilling several hundred gallons of moonshine made from stolen apples, Ponyville was set aflame in an attempt to drive off a giant sloth.

It seems that on that fateful day, Friendship Was Arson.

Game runs smoothly enough; ponies last a while, and most players tried for balanced stats. This gave them more leeway to work with, and prevented ponies fainting when confronted by a large task that required a lot of work. Still deciding on a mechanic for how these points "recover".

Still, it remains a rules-light system, and I hope /co/ enjoys.

The idea from the last general was to have the picture I'm using on the holding site atm, you click the letter and it flies out and opens up into a page menu. What the page will contain, i figure any story, picture and of course biography info about Derpy. Will also have a chatroom since I have the software readily available to me. I'd do a Derpy/MLP forum, but the software I have is ancient and too many people know how to hack and destroy it. Someone else suggested a flash game of Pacman, except its Derpy and the dots are muffins, heh. I don't have that kind of flash skill though. Some real critique now: I think rerolling something once per day, in a game where skill rolls will be light and infrequent, seems a bit more powerful than having a +1 bonus.
